Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie / Mixed : : Male (neutered) : : Young : : Small Learn more about the Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie.
UPDATE: 12/29/10 - Brady is progressing in his Doggie Obedience Camp with his Foster mom and he will need a caregiver who is willing to dedicate time to keeping him a Happy balanced dog. He is territorial, like most Yorkies, but needs to be reminded of his boundaries & limitations. Brady is affectionate and loves to give kisses. If you like a challenge and are willing to enroll into Obedience Class with Brady, please fill out your application for him: www.yorkie911rescue.com. His Adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, vaccinations, flea/tick preventative & deworming.
Update: 10/26/10 - During Brady's last vet visit, the dogster told us that he has a slight heart murmur (rated 1). We are keeping an eye on it & will be visiting the dogter again in a few weeks to see it if has changed. Since Brady is young, this should not effect his lifestyle but he will need to have his teeth brushed regularly. He will also have to visit the dogter 2-3x a year to make sure the murmur doesn't get any worse. If the murmur gets worse, he will need to be put on medication. Lets pray he stays healthy & puppylike- as he is now!
Brady is a young pup full of energy! We're not quite sure about his background or what type of mix he is, but boy does he have a BIG Yorkie attitude! He is small but like most Yorkies, thinks he can take on an elephant (and win). He gets along great with dogs of all sizes and loves to play fetch with his foster Mom. He is very territorial like a Yorkie but is slowly becoming more trustworthy of his surroundings and humans. With the proper obedience training, teaching boundaries & limitations as well as daily exercise, he will prove to be a very loyal Yorkie pup! Brady is fragile in size and has exhibited aggression in the past, so a family with young children would not make a good candidate for him. In order to adopt Brady, you MUST be an experienced dog owner who understands Brady needs continued help to overcome his past issues and MUST enroll Brady in an Obedience Training Course. His new family MUST be willing to help him learn what is and what is not acceptable behavior. A home with another well-behaved dog is a plus. Prior small dog experience with past behavior problems & leg lifting issues is a real plus!!! His Adoption fee: $300 includes his neuter, vaccinations, flea/tick preventative & deworming.
