Update 12/7/11: I have come a long way in the few weeks I have been in Rescue. Initially, I was cautious with people but now I am a little more trusting and will come up to strangers. I also get along with other dogs although I paid no mind to my foster fur-sibling in the beginning. My foster Mom is working on my potty training. When I was at the puppy mill, I used to go potty whenever and wherever I wanted so I'm not quite understanding the new rules just yet. I am working on it though! At night, I like to sleep in my dog bed which is next to the big bed that my foster family sleeps on. Sometimes I sneak off in the middle of the night and cuddle in a blanket. It reminds me of snuggling with my other puppy mill pals. My foster Mom brings me treats when I am in my dog bed and I take them out of her hand and allow her to pet me. She says I am sweet! Woof! One of my favorite things is the dried duck that I like to play with. I have also figured out how to chew on cow hooves- they feel real good on my teeth. I like being in foster care because I learn new things unlike when I was in the puppy mill but the Rescue Squad told me I will love a Furever Family even more! If this is true, I can't wait! I am learning from my foster fur sibling how to show that I am happy so now I get excited when my foster Mom comes home. I greet her at the door and lay down next to her so she can pet me! She gives me lots of love and my foster fur-brother has been so nice to me. Thanks to them, I made my Holiday Yorkie Wish and pray that it comes true- A Furever Family like my Foster one, but will my wish be you? Hello. My name is Daphne. I came from a puppy mill and am looking for a warm bed and patient family to call my own. I am new to rescue so the Rescue Squad is still learning who I am. I am a little bit shy but with patience and love I will come out of my shell. I am also learning a lot from my fur siblings! If you want to make all of my wishes come true, fill out an adoption application at: www.yorkie911rescue.com. My adoption fee is $350. More about DaphneGood with Dogs
