Update 4/10/12: I spent the Holiday weekend enjoying an egg hunt and playing a whole bunch!  I LOoOoVE to play!  I actually searched out all of the eggs and got a bunch of yummy treats and new stuffed toys.  I took out my toys and my foster fur-sibling started to play tug-of-war with me.  I lose tug-of-war all the time but little does my fur-sibling know... that I LET her win!  I keep trying though.  Woof!  I felt left out when my Foster Mom started dressing my foster fur-siblings for the Holiday, so I pulled out a few shirts from the basket of dog clothes and thankfully she got the hint and put one on me too!  Woof!  She says I really crack her up!  I still growled at some of the Holiday company but I tried to be on my best behavior.  Once you get passed my growling like a gremlin, I am loads of fun and love to play fetch and tug-of-war.  I love my foster fur-siblings and I especially enjoy playing with them.  I am gentle with the smallest foster fur-sibling and I chose him to snuggle with.  My foster Mom says I am a very special boy... and I do give kisses when I feel comfortable with you!  If you think you can furever work with a special boy like me, please put in your application @ www.yorkie911rescue.com!

Update 3/25/12:  My foster Mom is so proud of me!  I have come a long way since I first arrived in rescue.  Every day is another day closer to trusting more and being a happier dog!  I get along well with my fur-siblings and enjoy playing with them.  I need a furever family who will promise to continue to work with me as my foster family has.  Do you have what it takes to continue helping me on my path to being a better dog?  Fill out an application.

Update: 3/13/12:  I visited the dogter and they found out I had worms!  Eww!  Thank goodness that my new dogter dewormed me.  My foster Mom is working on my growl though.  I do not bite, I am just scared so they are reassuring me they are nice people and everything is okay.  I love to play in general- with both dogs and with the kids.  Since I am still getting used to crowds, my foster family is going to work on getting me exposed to different situations so I get used to lots of people.  I love belly rubs and I love to go on car rides.  I look forward to finding a furever home who is willing to work on my trust issues because I am such a cutie!  My adoption fee is $350 and you can put in an adoption application at www.yorkie911rescue.com.

Woof Woof!  Meet Me- Matty!  I was an owner surrender from a family who gave up on me after only 3 weeks!  Yes you read that correctly.  I heard my previous owners say that I was "ruining the carpet" because I kept having accidents on it.  What else would you expect?  I am an untrained puppy!  With a little consistency, this will change!  My foster Mommy says I am a sweetheart but I do not like to get picked up.  I let her pet me and hand feed me but I do a low growl when I am picked up.  I will not snap but I want it known that I do not like it.  My foster Mommy noticed that I smelled like poop when she first came to pick me up from my previous home.  First she thought that maybe something was stuck in my hair that was missed but after I got to her house I really stunk!  She thought I had had a poopy accident in the car but nope!  She checked my tush area and thought there was a large piece of poop attached to my rear area but it turned out to be a part of my tush.  After that she decided to leave me alone- I think she realized I was overwhelmed with the recent changes and perhaps that is the reason why I do not like to be picked up at this time!  I am going to the dogter to get neutered and they will see what is going on with my rear area.  In the meantime, if you think I am a cutie and ready for whatever comes my way, put in an application at www.yorkie911rescue.com.
