Update 4/20/12: Well I have settled in quite nicely here in my foster home.  I follow my foster Mom around and snuggle on the couch.  Even though I am a puppy mill survivor, I enjoy sleeping in my crate as long as it is close to my foster Mom's room.  I have no problems when I am in my crate either.  Since I am a puppy mill survivor, I tend to be afraid of noises and fast movements but my foster family has been helping to build my confidence.  They are also teaching me about schedules and potty training.  This way I will be less afraid of noises and I can be the best little Yorkie boy ever!  I overheard the Rescue Squad say they are confident I will "get there" eventually.  Would you like to be a part of my transformation?  Put in your adoption application now!

Woof Woof!  My name is Romeo.  I came into rescue from a puppy mill in the midwest via a Pup My Ride transport with Best Friends Animal Society.  I am new to Yorkie911 Rescue and am still learning to trust people.... you see, the ones at the puppy mill farm were NOT very nice to me.  I was very scared when they would come near me.  It doesn't help that I have a cataract in one of my eyes!  Due to my past, I do not like to be handled all that much but I promise I am working on it!  I am going to need a furever family that is willing to continue working with me and who won't be afraid to correct my uncertain behaviors.  I get nervous when people hold me or handle me but I swear I am trying.  I look forward to the day I am a happy, balanced dog.  Woof!  My adoption fee is $375 and if you think we are a match, you can fill out an adoption application at www.yorkie911rescue.com.
