Update 9/22/12:  Freddie was recently adopted but is back in rescue.  The family that adopted him has a 16 year old pup that just couldn't adjust to having another dog in the home and his pawrents decided it was not fair to him as he is an old boy who just needs a quiet house.   They are heartbroken that they had to give Freddie back to us but had to do the right thing by their other boy.   Please help us find Freddie a wonderful new home of his own.

Update 7/24/12: Guess what?  I heard my Foster Mom tell the Rescue Squad that I am doing amazingly well now that I am adjusted to my foster home.  I love to take walks and I run around the yard. I am now totally crate trained at night and I sleep through the night with no complaints. I am also doing great with house-breaking.  I am on a schedule so I now go right when I get outside and have gone several days without an accident! Woof Woof! I am onto the next phase in my training regiment so we are working on some basic obedience training. I am a smart and loving pup who learns quickly when the rules and expectations are clear!  Woof!

Update 7/13/12: I was clearly the king of the castle in my former life but I am learning to adjust to my new settings and the rules of the household.  It's taking me some time but I am slowly getting it.  I definitely love to snuggle and cuddle!  My foster family isn't sure if I'm not housebroken or if I am just nervous and marking.  There have been a lot of changes in my life recently including learning what a crate is.  I am not a fan of the crate but I am being taught what crate training is now.  I would do best if my furever family had a quieter home- not to say that I'm not okay with kids but I would be happiest with older kids (10 years+ old).  I am easily startled when I am sleeping with the sounds that young kids make but I am just fine with them during the day when I am fully awake.  You can put an adoption application at www.yorkie911rescue.com
