Hi there!  My name is Izzy but my foster Mom is affectionately calling me Popeye.  I was dumped at a petstore by my previous owner but thankfully the petstore owner called Yorkie911 and the Rescue Squad immediately picked me up!  They rushed me to the dogter because I had a severely neglected eye infection.  The verdict is still out as to whether or not I have vision out of it so I need to re-visit the dogter this week for some more testing.  I also need to get neutered & have a full checkup.  We are hopeful that I will have a full recovery but am still on eye medication that I am responding quite well to.  My foster Mom says I am a doll and love to be held and cuddled.  I am the perfect lap dog!  We are working on my house breaking and am doing great with my commands.  I am a smart boy and have already learned to sit, stay & come!  I get along great with other dogs and my foster Mom says I am sooo cute that applications should be flying in for me!  Once my treatment is finished & I am neutered, I will be ready for my furever home.  In the meantime, you can still visit www.yorkie911rescue.com to fill out an adoption application for me.  My adoption fee is $375.00 which includes my vaccinations and neuter.
