Update 11/27/12: Well, what can I say?  I am a little pup with a huge personality... but then again, that's what Yorkies are all about!  I am super sweet and really easy going.  After my surgery, I was moved to a new foster home to recooperate (which by the way, I am really recovering quite nicely!) and jumped right into their routine.... as well as their couch & made myself right at home!  I get along great with other dogs and kids.  I am doing well with crate training and housebreaking.  My foster family says I am joy to have around!  I do love the Rescue Squad but want a family that I can call my very own this Howliday Season... won't you consider adopting a pretty gal like me?

Update 11/23/12:  Surgery went well and I am recovering quickly.  We had good news from the biopsy - not cancer!  YIPEE!!  The Dogtor will recheck me in 2 months but is very hopeful that the remaining tumors will shrink now that I have been spayed.  Please keep your fingers crossed!  My foster mom had happy tears when she heard the news.

Update 10/28/12: A second look at my tumors proved worth it!  The dogter said they are going to operate after all.  It will be two tricky surgeries with a lot of time spent recooperating in between.  The dogter is going to go in and remove one side of the mammory tumors first then allow me to heal before completing the other side.  After that, the Rescue Squad said we need to hope they get all the cancer out and I stay in remission.  To ensure I do, we (the Rescue Squad & my new furever family) should moniter moving forward.  So wish me luck as I undergo a hopefully successful surgery and to finding a furever family!

Update 10/9/12:  My foster mom took me to to dogtor this week and had some not so good news.  It turns out I have a lot of these little lumps called mammory tumors - too many to have removed so surgery is not an option.  I overheard the dogtor use a word that started with a "C" and my foster mom's face looked so sad.  Not sure what it really means because I don't feel sick or anything.   Whatever time I have whether it is 3 months or 3 years, I hope someone will still want to have me cuddle on their lap and give them kisses.  I just know there is someone out there that will love me.

Woof Woof!  My name is Taffy and I am a female Yorkie.  Boy am I super glad that a Rescue Angel got me out of the shelter and brought me into the arms of the Yorkie911 Rescue Squad!  Now I will get a second chance at finding a furever family to love and care for me like I deserve.  I have a wonderful disposition and am really easy going.  My foster Mommy says I am one of the best foster dogs to walk through her door (and she has had A LOT of foster dogs!)  Oh, and I am also house-broken!  It really doesn't get better than me when it comes to being a Yorkie!  Please visit www.yorkie911rescue.com to fill out an adoption application for me.  My adoption fee is $350 which includes my dogter visit and medical needs.
