Update 1/20/13:  I am doing great with my foster family and furry sibling.  I am very playful and love my toys.  I also try to play with my foster fur sibling.  Originally the Rescue Squad thought I wasn't all that good with other dogs but it has been discovered that I actually am.  Apparently, I have been a little bit misread & this is a great discovery by our foster family because it will help match me up with the perfect family!  When I go on walks, if there is another dog, I want to play with them but I do start off by barking at them because I'm still not sure how to say hello!  When my foster fur sibling gets snooty with me, I just walk away from her.  Since I have a higher energy, I would do well with older kids who would be able to keep up with me.   I should warn you... I AM AN ATTENTION GETTER!  Woof!  When I want to play, I will get very, very vocal and will try to get your attention, but then again this is a total Yorkie trait & I am all Yorkie!  I also love to give kisses even tho sometimes I do it with my mouth open and it almost looks like I am going to nip you... I promise I am honestly only full of kisses!  I will also hold my toys growling but again it is just my way of playing.  This is probably a result of not learning how to play properly as a puppy.  I am perfectly house trained & very smart.  When my foster family go out, they leave me alone free in the house without crating me because I am such a good girl!  I do not have accidents nor do I cause any damage.  I also love to sit by the windows and watch everything that is going on.  I am playful and very loving with anyone that I meet.  Sometimes I think I would make a good therapy dog for nursing homes or disabled kids because I am very smart and so friendly.  Even though I love to play, I have learned to quiet down a bit when my foster Mom is done for the day and it is quiet time.  My New Year's Wish is to find my furever match and I really hope you are it!  Please put in an adoption application for me at www.yorkie911rescue.com.

 
Update 12/6/12: My foster Mom says I am delight and I made myself right at home (even though I am still looking for my furever home!)  I am completely trained, am very smart and I get along quite well with my foster fur-sibling. I love people and will jump into the first lap that will return my affection!  I also love people and I love to give you kisses!  I have no issues taking medication when I need to or eating yummy food and treats... actually my foster Mom says I would probably eat all day long if you let me!! (Which they won't let me do because they said it's not good for me or any dog!)  In the mornings, we go for a walk and I do my business and then I quietly go right into my crate while my foster Mom goes off to work.  I am very playful and lovable!  My foster family says that whoever adopts me is going to be a very lucky family so hurry and please give me a home for the howlidays (and furever)!
