Update 8/23/13: I'm a happy 7 year old poodle. I love to follow my foster mom around from room to room. If she sits down, I don't waste anytime jumping right into her lap. If she is doing important work, I sit behind her on the couch and watch. I just love to be close to her. I know I'm supposed to go on the wee wee some times my aim is a little off. i will also go outside if you let me! I came into the rescue with my fur brother Taco. Since we have been living together with my foster family I realized there are so many people out there that could love me! We know its the best thing to try to find our own homes. I love kids too! The more attention I get the happier I am. I enjoy taking naps in the sun. If you have to work, I am understanding about that too. I sleep in my crate patiently and wait for you to come home! I'm really just a happy sweet girl looking for love. I hope you can give me a furever home soon. My adoption fee is $300.
Update 5/29/13: Taco Chip & I have been taking 1 mile power walks but the first time wasn't exactly smooth! We didn't want the leash on us at all. My foster Mom had to pull me out of the yard and Taco Chip kept barking at her! Once we got on the street, we did much better. We swerved back and forth a bit and finally got into a rhythm and started walking with our foster Mommy. She told us, "I was taught by a trainer a long time aog, the dogs walk with me; I don't want with the dogs!" Well, once we heard that, we figured out that was how it was going to be and we started to do GREAT! We know that tired dogs are happy dogs so we enjoy the walks because then we get to sleep good all night long!
Woof Woof! My name is Harlie and I came into rescue with my brother, Taco Chip. We are a pair of adorable Malti-Poos which is a Maltese Poodle mix. We were surrendered to rescue due to financial hardship and are a bonded pair so this means we must be adopted together. I am a very sweet girl and not as needy as my brother. Although, I do enjoy seeking him out to play. We like to snuggle and get along really well together.
