Update 10/29/15:  Rupert finds himself once again back in rescue after only a few days!! Rupert needs a chance to adjust to a new home. He is a little older and just needs Someone willing to put in the love and time so he can be happy. This sweet boy is just so mellow. He doesn't bother a soul. He loves his food!! Lol! He is not interested in playing with toys or other pups but he is perfectly fine around them. I think he really likes the company. He has no aggression at all towards anyone. He is more of a lounger!! Rupert will sit with you on the bed or couch for a bit. But he ultimately likes to be on the floor to spread out. If your looking for just a sweet mellow boy who is great company then Rupert is for you! We are still working on his bathroom habits. He does go outside to the bathroom but also will have accidents inside. It is perfectly normal for dogs to go through an adjustment period. We are using a belly band on him which is very helpful for training. He needs someone to be consistent with his training. This boy deserves to find a loving forever home with someone who won't give up on him anymore! It's just not fair to him. Meet Rupert! He is a very sweet, quiet and gentle little guy. Hard to imagine how he survived as a stray. He came to us from a local shelter and settled right in to his foster home. He was great with his grooming and is very proud of his handsome new haircut. He loves to be brushed and massaged, so life is good for him right now. At 15 pounds, he is a little too big for some of the yorkie sized beds in the house, but he manages to squeeze in and make himself comfortable. Yes, he is all about the nap! He also loves going out for walks and getting fresh air. He is easy-going with people and dogs. He doesn’t mind staying home alone in his pen or coming along for a car ride to find his next adventure.
