Update 10/30/15: Marty is moving up in the world! He now has the run of the house day and night - can you say HAPPY dog?? He behaves nicely and only has rare accidents indoors so he earned his reward! He is such an easy dog to walk too. He is more comfortable being left alone now that he is not crated or penned. He is a bit cautious with new people but warms right up once he knows they are kind. He seems to like young children and gets along fine with his foster brother. There is some sibling rivalry for attention – Marty is very affectionate and is not shy about giving kisses or asking to be pet! I can’t decide whether Marty would prefer to be the only dog and get all of the attention, or have other pets to keep him company. Either way, he just needs some time to adjust to his new family and he will soon be a super dog.
Update 10/16/15: Marty is such a lovable little boy! He follows his foster mom around the house just waiting for the chance to cuddle or give kisses. He is young and energetic, and is happy to play, take a long walk, or just lounge around. Anything with his people is A-Okay with Marty! He is mostly house-trained and he doesn’t chew. He has some separation anxiety that his foster mom is working on. After all, he is still adjusting and getting used to the house routines.
10/11/15: Marty always seems to always have a very quizzical look on his face - like he is worried or thinking about something. Initially he was very shy but seems to be relaxing and following his foster mom around now that he is getting used to the home. Some of the other pups are trying to engage him in play but he is still a bit cautious - hopefully with a little more socialization, he will initiate play with them as well. Marty is affectionate and likes to be pet. He even gave a kiss yesterday. Adoption fee $350.00
