Floyd is here! He arrived earlier today (1/17/21) and is adjusting nicely in his foster home. He has started treatment for heartworm but it is a long road ahead. We are looking for someone who will foster him with the intention of adoption once his treatment is completed. Floyd is currently in Puerto Rico awaiting transport to NY. He is a young, playful boy who tested + for heartworm so he will undergo treatment once he arrives. Don't let this diagnosis scare you - once he is treated, he will be good as new but must take a preventative every month (heartgard or other).
