Well, Mr Peanut was defintely gifted in the looks department. He came from a shelter in Baltimore. He is young, active, fast, full of life and fun! For the most part, he gets along with all the dogs at the rescue, but what he has done is pick one or two favorite dogs and he is absolutely adorable how he engages with them and gets them to play, chase and run with him in the yard It is so nice to see him so happy when he plays with another dog because what he struggles with is trust issues with people. So he needs a home with a a patient dog savy owner who will give him the time and space to learn that people can be trusted. How do we know he will come around? Because he already has done that with one of our dedicated volunteers here at the rescue. She has made an effort to spend extra time with him to teach him about trust and to show him what love really is. Can you be the one to help him continue on this journey? He needs someone very special to do that with him. It will be so rewarding to see his progression. The ideal home for Peanut would be a home with an another active social dog which will help him progess even quicker with his socialization and trust of people.
