UPDATE 12/1/10: I was neutered today and feel pretty good.  I am finally available for adoption and boy am I getting used to being spoiled by humans!  Sure beats that puppymill place!  My foster Mommy is impressed that every time I have to go potty I either go to the front door or walk over to the weewee pad where my Foster Mommy has a fire hydrant set up just for me to lift my leg on!  I'm still not 100% certain of humans but I do love it when I get back and belly rubs!  They feel really good on my body.  I started taking treats from my Foster Mommy & will chew on toys occasionally but I do not know what to do with them.  I watch my foster fursiblings and they play all these fun games like fetch with the toys.  I'm hoping I can learn to play too but I need more time to trust my new environment.  My Foster Mommy puts an eye rinse in my eye to help with the scarring from my prolapsed eyelid that has resolved itself.  She puts ointment on my eye then I feel better.  It's so easy and only costs $5 at the pharmacy.  My foster Mommy says I am like a wallflower because I am so laid back but like to see everything that is going on.  I do not let her out of my sight & always maintain a few feet of distance from her.  I am getting a little more trusting because on occasion I forget that I am scared and will walk right next to her or under her feet!  I also like to lay down closer to her when she is sitting down and sometimes I do let her come over to me to pet me because I love those rubs!  She says I am very smart and am learning the routine of going outside for walks, which I really like too!  I just follow her kissy noises and sniff the great big world out there.  Won't you consider adopting a great, easy going Yorkie like me?  I wouldn't even mind having a playpal because I am so easy going that I am sure I would get along just fine!

 

I will be in rescue for a few weeks until I can be neutered and then I will be ready to go to my furever!  My foster Mom says I am a really good boy and seem to be potty trained.  I will not piddle or poop in my playpen and go near the front door when I need to go outside.  I stil do not trust humans 100% but the folks I live with treat me really nice.  My foster Mom cleans out my eye every day even though I really don't like it and puts a triple antibiotic on it.  It feels so much better already!  I'm very happy to have new fur siblings to play with and lots of toys.  My adoption fee is $400 which includes vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, flea/tick prevention and a dental.
