Update 2/26/11: I am progressing wonderfully with the housebreaking and seperation issues. My foster Mommy says I have been much calmer lately too. Yorkie911 Rescue believes whoever adopts me, will need to follow through with the training I am receiving in order for my progression to continue.  I finally mastered the "Sit" command and get daily walks which I love becaue I get to meet & see all my new doggie friends. My foster Mommy says I'm a very social pup!

Hi there!  My name is Cooper & I am doing great!  I am really friendly and get along with all of my foster siblings.  I am by no means an alpha dog and interact very well with them.  I am a very playful pup and love to throw my toys up in the air and then catch them.  I have an extremely high energy level and am looking for a family that can keep up with my lifestyle.  My foster Mommy says I have displayed some separation issues but how can she blame me?  I do not like to be left alone.  She says she is going to work with me on this.  I can not sit still until I am exhausted but that is only because I do not want to miss a thing!  When I do relax, I will snuggle right next to my human.  I am still getting used to going into a crate because I get scared and cry when the gate door is closed.  I fear they will leave me alone in the cage like they did at the shelter.  My foster Mommy told me she will work with me on this and promises to return and get me from the crate.  I am not house trained either but that is to be expected with my age and background.  I already like the "Sit" & "Come" commands that my foster Mom is teaching me- she says I'm really smart!  What can I say?  It's fun to learn and I am eager to please!  I just love to follow my foster Mom from room to room and I try hard not to leave her side!  I'm so good at it that I will knock down baby gates and try to escape from enclosures to get to her!  ha.  She thinks she can pull a fast one on me but I won't let her get away that easy!  Woof Woof!  My foster Mommy says I would make a great agility dog.  I'm not sure what that means but I love to run and jump so if that's part of the deal, I'm in!  I like to go on walks with my leash and go on car rides too.  I also don't mind a good scrubbing when necessary!  I guess you can say I'm an all around sweet character with a big heart!  My adoption fee is $350.
