Update 3.30.11 -   Well folks, I had my surgery and it went very well.  Great news for me- the dogters were able to put me back together even though it was a very old fracture in my back leg.  I will be on serious crate rest for the next 6-10 weeks (boohoo)  but once the pin is removed, I get to start swimming for rehab (yipee)!  I have to visit the dogter every 2 weeks over the next few weeks to let them check up on my recovery progress but after my rehab is complete, I am wishing that a furever family falls in love and adopts me!  I hope I am not thinking selfish but since all of my wishes to now have come true (Yorkie911 saving my life, having an amazing warm home away from the dirty shelter & my leg getting fixed), I thought I would try wishing for one more thing!  I heard my foster Mom say, "I hope you have a chance to meet Gino and experience his amazing energy and spirit.  He melts in your arms".... And the Rescue Squad's response: "he melts in your arms, not in your hands!"  My adoption fee is $350.

Woof woof!  My name is Gino & boy am I so glad that Yorkie911 saved my life!  I was on the Euth list because I was a stray in NY with an injured back leg.  No one came to rescue me from the shelter until Yorkie911 came to get me!  I am so grateful- they are my Doggie Guardian Angel, especially my foster Mom who just adores me already!  She says I am sweet, gentle, intelligent and alert.  She sure is dog gone right!  I surprised her when I first showed her that I am wee wee pad trained!  You should have seen her face- it was priceless! Woof, woof!  My foster Mom has a dog who is really nice so I snuggled up with him on the fluffy blanket one of the first nights after arriving.  Her dog is real nice to me so I am real nice back.  I am a great dog and real sturdy.  My foster Mom says I am adorable and have a very sweet disposition even though there is something wrong with my back leg.  I let her bathe me and clean me up because I stunk real bad when I came from the shelter.  Not to worry now- I am groomed, clean and ready to rumble.... well after the Rescue Squad helps to get me the surgery I need in order to fix my back leg.  I heard the dogter say it will cost them $1,500 to fix my leg so if you can please help out with the bills, I would really appreciate it.  Gee golly they really are such a great group of people to have rescued me from the Euthanisia list and now repair my leg.  My adoption fee will be $350 when I am ready to be adopted but you can put in your application now at: www.yorkie911rescue.com.
"gino is out of surgery - the vets think it went very well and they were able to put him back together.  it was a very old fracture.  he will need to be on serious crate rest for the next 6-10 weeks, then once the pin is removed, swimming for rehab.  not sure if we will be sending him back to you because he will need to be seen in 2 week intervals at the vet.  will probably stay at the animal hospital til Saturday.

Omg I had a pin put in my broken elbow three months ago same thing

I hope you have a chance to meet Gino and experience his  amazing energy and spirit. He melts in your arms
