Update 7/1/11: Guess what?  I have since found my voice!  Boy is it fun to bark.  One day I decided to join the rest of the dog pack when they welcomed home their Mom.  I have also started to learn how to walk up a full flight of stairs on my own.  My Foster Mommy praised me to much that I got a little bit scared.  Now I just have to learn how to go down the stairs...

Update 6/6/11: Woof Woof!  I am doing great with the other pups but I still growl if they come too close when I am snuggling up against my foster Mom.  She has not seen any food issues with me- except that I do like to make my rounds to all of my foster fursibling's plates to help them finish!  I like to hang ten in the back seat of the car on rides and I do not try to run out when the door is open.  I can do a few steps but not many as I am still trying to figure them out.  I walk well when I have another four legged friend with me.  They help to build my confidence.  I am confused with housebreaking- whether I should go inside or out.

My name is Lukas and I am an adorable little Poodle that is new to rescue.  I am a little bit food aggressive but otherwise very friendly - just don't like anyone to try to eat out of my bowl.  I really can not help myself, I had to struggle for my food and feel competitive around it.  I sometimes may try to dominate the other dogs but my foster family is working with me to help me change and be more social.  Please consider adopting me!  My adoption fee is $350.
