courtesy posting! please all Robin @917-747-0770 if you are interested in adopting Penny. Penny is a cute 2 year old Yorkie/Schnauzer Mix that is 9lbs. She has been spayed and is up date on all of her shots. I rescued her from a woman that was going to leave in the park all alone. Since then Penny has really come around. She has learned her basic commands and gets along great with my 9 year old Jack Russell. She is active but loves to just sit in her bed but preferably on your lap and snuggle. She loves going to the dog park, chasing birds (she doesn't get that they can just fly away), and playing with other dogs. I let her off leash and she does come back when called. She can be a bit protective when on the leash and tends to bark at big dogs but we are working on that. I have traveled with her in the car and she doesn't love the crate but will put up with it..she doesn't like being in a travel bag. She's better off just hanging out in the car if you have to leave her. She will just sit in the front seat or look out of the window waiting patiently for you.
