Update 3/21/12: It took a while but I am feeling terrific. I am still a bit shy but once I get to know you, it's all about me/you and the snuggle. My foster mom is fattening me up and I am looking better every day. Please submit an application for me - I am ready for a home of my own.
Update 3/1/12: I spent most of the day yesterday resting as the surgery made me a bit groggy. No worries tho- I am on the road to recovery! I ate a big breakfast & take my medications with no fuss. Boy, I am so happy that the Rescue Squad saved me and that I have an amazing foster family to take care of me during this scary time in my life! I look forward to being adopted one day real soon and thankfully now know what expectations to have for a future furever family. Update 2/28/12: Whew - what a day I had today! My foster mom got me to the dogtor just in time - I had something called Pyometra (said it could have been fatal) and if they had waited another day I might not have made it. Thankfully, I am going to be 100% ok in about a week. Please get your application in for me asap - I am a cutie and there are going to be a lot of potential homes waiting to adopt me! My name is Jolie and I am so sweet! I am a tiny little girl who came to rescue emaciated. I thought the way I looked was normal but the Rescue Squad was shocked that you could see my entire spine and rib cage. Now I know that is not good. My skin is also really dry and flaky but now that I am on a hearty food and in good care, I'm sure this will change. I let my foster family hold me and cuddle with me and I do my business on a wee wee pad. My adoption fee is $375 and you can fill out an adoption application at www.yorkie911rescue.com. |
