Carly came into rescue last week - she was dumped at a shelter beautifully groomed with the bow still in her hair with no explanation.  After being kept there for the requisite time period (in case her family wanted to take her back) Yorkie911 stepped in and took her into rescue. Of course, the first thing we did was take her to our vet.  Her paperwork said she had a mass in her abdomen and upon exam it was determined that she has congestive heart failure.  Carly is now on heart meds.  We are not sure if surgery is an option for her at this time.  She is one of the sweetest, most docile pups we have taken into rescue and deserves a loving home to live out her life - whether it be a few weeks, months or years.
