Update 1/3/13: Woof!  Macho Max here, or as my foster family calls me, Mr. Max!  They call me Mr Max because they say I am such a gentleman.  I thought I should update you since it's been a few weeks and I just wanted to let you know that I am doing well.  I am a great leash walker and adjust easily to a new routine.  I seek affection from both my foster Mom & foster Dad with no reaction to other dogs outside (even when my furry foster siblings bark).  I also had no reaction to the fireworks that were set off on New Year's Eve.  I eat well and get along with the other dogs.  I am a really sweet dog and the Rescue Squad want to help find me a great furever home.  Please consider putting in a adoption application for me if you think we are a match. 

Update 12/18/12:  The good news I don't need special food.  My issue is that I have occasional ear problems.  My previous family had me on an ID diet because they thought it helped my ears.  I haven't been on that food for quite a while and my ears have been just the same.  My foster Mom has been managing my ears well since now she knows what to do.  As soon as I start to show any signs of my symptoms, my foster Mom starts using the ear wash and it has prevented me from anything severe.  So see, it's not that ruff taking of me.  I am a good boy looking for a furever Home for the Howlidays.  Please won't you consider a sweet boy like me?  Visit www.yorkie911rescue.com.

Update 11/24/12:  Woof Woof!  My name is Macho Max, or Max for short.  I am a sweet, timid boy just under 8lbs who walks great on a leash and am a little sweetie!  I have one wish this Howliday season and that is to find a furever family.  You see, I have been in rescue for some time now and although I adore my foster family, I have been praying every night and am confident that a furever family all my own will find me in time for the Howlidays!  So if you're it, please put your application in at www.yorkie911rescue.com and we can share the Howliday spirit together furever!

Update 9/1/12:  I was so close to having a new fur-ever home!  I know the woman liked me - she gave me kisses all the time,  but she realized living on a fixed income and not being a healthy person, she really couldn't afford to have a dog.   It's not expensive to take care me but I do require a special food.  All I really need is a warm lap and some lovin' and I will be your best friend for years to come!

Both my mom and dad are very sick and can barely take care of each other.  I have been staying with the Doggie Nanny but now need to find a new fur-ever family of my own. I am pretty good with the wee wee pads but don't mind wearing a belly band.  I am a very sweet boy - no issues with walking on a leash, going to the vet or grooming.  Easy Peasy.  I do tend to get frightened easily (don't like thunder/lightning) but love being cuddled so if you are looking for a quiet boy to snuggle up with - please submit an application for me @ www.yorkie911rescue.com.  My adoption fee is only $250.
