Update 12/2/12:  Wow, I have been in foster care for a while now and would really like a home of my own - with another dog of course!  I do like to play with my foster siblings even though one of them pulls at my ears all the time.  My foster mom is still working with me on my potty training - it is definitely getting better and I don't mind being in my crate at all.  I'm not much of a talker either so an apartment would not be a bad place for me although I do like to run in the yard.  Please won't you give me a home for the Howlidays?

Update 10/26/12:  My foster mom says I am coming along really well.  I have been up in general population with the other dogs in the house and get along with them all.  I feel so safe and comfortable now that I am even going up to her to be petted!  It feels GOOOOOD :)  The dogtor looked at my paperwork and gave me an exam - seems my head will stay tilted because I had a really bad ear infection that went untreated for a very long time but I am not in any pain.  I need to tilt it so that everything looks straight to me.  It is time for me to get a home of my own.  Please consider adopting me @ www.yorkie911rescue.com.   Adoption fee $325.00

Hewo there.  My name is Bailee and I am a Yorkie who survived a puppy mill.  After years of being used for breeding, I was rescued from the mill and found myself at a NY shelter.  They found me a home with a wonderful family but things just did not work out.  I would not bond with the humans and while I liked their dog, she honestly was not all that fond of me.  They loved me very much but wanted the best for me so after a few months of trying to make it work unsuccessfully, they called Yorkie911 for help.  An evaluation proved that I was not in the right home and need rehabilitation along with some additional medical attention.  I am skittish and nervous of new people and have an underlying issue (my head tilts to the side) that the Rescue Squad is going to further investigate with their dogter.  I am currently not available for adoption but please consider sponsoring me at www.yorkie911rescue.com.
