Update 12/21/13: from Kendra's foster mom -- Kendra is a very easy dog to handle. She sleeps right next to my bed in her bed and is quiet all night. She's potty trained (with only VERY few accidents ever) and enjoys being outside. Kendra has come a VERY long way since August. She would make the perfect dog for a couple or single woman. Young kids scare her but I think she will do fine in a home with older children (12+). She's used to a calm and quiet setting. Recently we've discovered Kendra's interest for fruits and vegetables! Carrots are "treats" to her and she enjoys having a cut up strawberry after meals (like dessert!) Kendra first barked in October, and that was the first sound she had ever made! She's very quiet. Kendra started to chew on a bone in November! Whenever I see her chewing on the bone it makes me happy to know that she's comfortable. I like to describe Kendra as "the perfect dog" and my sidekick- she's follows me and is always interested in what's going on. Kendra even handles bathing well! Kendra is still very timid at times but I have seen this shyness fade throughout the months. I hope Kendra's family finds her soon! Oh no! My pretty hair was so matted that it had to be shaved off. My name is Kendra and when my hair grows back, I will be beautiful once again! My foster mom thinks I am a yorkie mix - maybe with corgi or daschund. Kind of hard to tell right now but I do look more Yorkie-ish when I have my long, beautiful hair. I am a true puppymill survivor which means I will need a lot of patience and TLC to help me adjust to life in the outside world. If you have experience with a pup like me, please submit an application at www.yorkie911rescue.com. My adoption fee is $350.00 More about KendraGood with Dogs, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Quiet, Requires a yard, Cratetrained, Timid, Skittish
