Update 4/14/15:
I moved to a new foster home for Easter. I took a few days to settle in and now I am really starting to like it here. My foster parents are showing me that it's ok to relax. I am still shy but slowly coming out of my shell. Mom just loves the happy-dance that I do at dinner time, and the funny way I tilt my head when she talks to me. My new fur brother taught me how to go out for walks and potty outside. I walk very nicely on the leash now and also like to lounge in the yard. Check out the new picture of me enjoying the spring weather:) I wish I could stay here, but my fur brother tells me there is a furever home still waiting for me
My name is Anastasia and I am a puppymill survivor. I am really starting to figure out how to be a part of a family! I'm still feeling very shy, but I let my foster mom pick me up, and I don't mind sitting on the couch and hanging out with the family. I love being around other dogs, and I like kids, as long as they are older and understand that I am still (understandably) nervous around people. I am crate trained and I'm figuring out how to use wee-wee pads. I'm not too sure about walking on a leash, but my foster mom says I'm getting better at it every day!
