Update 8/25/12: I am a great, adorable and affectionate girl looking for a furever family to adopt me! I enjoy nothing more than to chase tennis balls but with that said, I should let you know that I am also more than happy to sit on your lap and watch tv together. I am a cuddler, also known as a big mush and just love to be pet! I am super loyal and will sit by my human's side all day long. I will be honest with you though, I much more prefer people over dogs. The thing is, I am not a fan of the four legged furry friend although I have been getting along great with my two 4lb male fur siblings. The Rescue Squad feels that maybe I just don't like female dogs or dogs larger than me because I consider them a threat? Either way, we wanted to make you aware of my likes and dislikes so you can figure out if we're a match! I am great for a family who is not looking for a high energy dog that is already house trained! Yes you read that correctly! I go by the door to go out and I haven't had a single accident. My foster family doesn't even have to put wee-wee pads down for me because I am that good! Did I mention that I am also crate trained? I don't make a peep when I am asked to go in my crate. Seriously, why are you reading anymore... put your application in at www.yorkie911rescue.com. Update 7/24/12: I am doing well in foster care now that I am fairly acclimated. I am a very loving little girl. I look at my foster Mommy like she is God and climb onto her lap every chance I get. I love to be with her as much as possible! I do have accidents and am working on house training at this time. The good news is my foster Mommy takes me outdoors quite a bit so I have been working on pottying outside! I was once used to using wee wee pads because my foster Mommy puts a towel by the door which I now use to relieve myself when I can not go outside. Yesterday I decided to surprise my foster Mom by putting a ball on her lap which showed her that I like running and retrieving balls! I do it with such great enthusiasm that it has led her to believe that someone once loved me a lot and gave me a lot of attention. I hope to find a new family that will fulfill my needs but this time I need them to stick around furever! Woof Woof! Put in an application for me @ www.yorkie911rescue.com!
Woof Woof! My name is Maddie and I am new to rescue. I am a 5 year old Corgi-Chihuahua mix. Yes, I realize this is a strange combination of breeds but it is what makes me all the more special! Woof Woof! Please give the Rescue Squad a few days to get to me know and then they will update my bio with more info about me. In the meantime, if you think we may be a match, my adoption fee is $350 and you can fill out an adoption application at www.yorkie911rescue.com. More about MaddieGood with Dogs, Good with Kids
