Thank you for submitting an application to adopt one of our pups. Before you begin, please review and answer the following questions:
Do you currently have an unspayed or unneutered animal in your home?
Do you have children under the age of 8? We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 8 for the safety of the dog and the children.
Are you under 23 years of age?
Are you out of the house more than 9 hours a day?
If you answered "Yes" to any of these, please accept our sincere apologies but we will not be able to adopt a dog to you according to our by-laws.
If you answered "No" to all, please proceed.
We charge a non-refundable $25 processing fee which is deducted from the adoption fee. Your application will not be processed until this is received. Once your application has been submitted, you will receive an email with instructions as to how to submit this fee. Please do not keep hitting the "submit" key as we then receive multiple applications and the system will delete all.
Please understand that we get several applications for each dog posted. Just because you are interested in a particular dog, that dog may be adopted before your application process is completed. It is our priority to find the best possible home for each dog we take into rescue. Please check the status of the dog you are interested in. If the dog has a pending adoption and you are only interested in that particular dog then we suggest you stop here.
All our dogs are fostered on Long Island (NY). We do not transport our dogs. If you are not willing to drive to Long Island to meet/adopt from us then do not submit an application.
